Why are your garments so soft what fabric do you use?

Since day one, Dimples has demanded the highest quality fabrics. We source natural fabrics that are soft, hardwearing and gentle on delicate baby skin.  Our fabrics of choice are New Zealand merino and organic cotton, which we craft into a wide range of baby clothing, blankets and accessories.

 

How do I wash my merino?

We know busy parents don’t have time for fussy hand-washing, so most of our day to day babywear is easy to launder and care for.

To make sure your Dimples garments look beautiful for as long as possible, follow our simple care instructions.

  • Always used an approved liquid wool detergent or other trusted product. We suggest Softly or Lux Flakes to wash Dimples garments. Use the cold water wool wash cycle on your washing machine.
  • Do not soak or wash your woollen garments in powdered laundry products as these contain whiteners that act like a bleach. Even 'eco-whiteners' may still bleach your garment, creating spots and holes. 
  • Do not put wool wash directly onto garments, as this will stain and discolour them.
  • Use Wondersoap (cake soap) for the removal of stains prior to washing the garment. 
  • If hand washing woollen garments: gently hand wash in cold water, rinse well, gently wring
  • dry flat in shade as direct sunlight will cause discolouration.
  • It is important to remember not to use warm water as this may cause the garment to felt and shrink

Do not bleach, rub, soak or tumble dry. Cool steam iron. Dry cleanable.

How long will delivery take?

Dispatch is usually within 1-3 business days of placing an order.

If your delivery address is in New Zealand, your order should arrive within 2-5 working days. Bulky items and rural addresses can take a bit longer. 

Shipment times vary but we will send you a tracking number so you know where things are at.

During sale periods please allow up to 5 business days for orders to be dispatched during sale periods

 

Can I have my order delivered to a POBox?

Sorry we cannot currently delivery to a PO Box

 

Can I return or exchange my order?

Every Dimples-branded product is made with love and care. We use quality materials, have high manufacturing standards, and hand-embroider every garment. We hope you will be delighted when your products arrive.

However, if you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we can give you a credit note or exchange most items*.

Make sure:

  • You have proof of purchase
  • The product was purchased in the last 14 days
  • The product is in original condition, with original packaging and labels
  • The product has not been washed, worn, or used

You will need to return products at your own expense if you change your mind, but we will refund or credit postage if the product is faulty.

We will only accept returns that were originally purchased from www.dimples.co.nz or Dimples, 14 Kent Street, Newmarket, Auckland, New Zealand.  Receipt must be provided.

 

*Before you buy, check the exceptions for a list of items that can’t be refunded or exchanged, and choose carefully.

We do not offer returns or exchanges on these items unless the product is damaged or faulty.
