Premium Baby Bedding NZ
It's no secret that little ones need plenty of attention, even when they're asleep! At Dimples, we understand how much thought goes into preparing a baby's nursery and just how important those everyday comforts can feel. That's why we've carefully selected a beautiful range of baby bedding, bringing together quality fabrics, practical designs and timeless styles to help make your little one's space feel warm and welcoming.
A beautifully made bed starts with the essentials. Discover our cot and bassinet sheets, available in lovely designs to complement your nursery. For those precious cuddles, explore our beautiful baby blankets, including the Woodlands Blanket and Merino Bee Blanket. Whether you're choosing a soft cotton favourite or the natural comfort of merino wool, these are the little pieces that often become part of your family's most treasured moments.
Of course, practicality matters just as much as comfort! Our Baby Mattress Protectors offer a handy layer of protection against everyday leaks and little accidents, helping make those inevitable bedding changes easier. You'll also find our Baby Nest collection, featuring baby loungers and doomoo cocoons designed for specific supervised, awake-time uses. These can be lovely additions to your everyday baby essentials when used according to their instructions, but they're not suitable for infant sleep. For sleep, always place your baby on a firm, flat mattress with a fitted sheet, keeping nests, loungers, bumpers, pillows and loose bedding out of the cot or bassinet.
At Dimples, we believe baby bedding should be just as beautiful as it is practical. Whether you're getting everything ready for a new arrival, refreshing your nursery or choosing a thoughtful gift, our collection brings together the little details that make a room feel special. Explore our Sheets, Blankets, Mattress Protectors and Baby Nests collections to find your favourites, or visit our blog How to Make a Cute, Cosy and Safe Baby Bed for more inspiration.
FAQ
How do I choose the right cot or bassinet sheets?
How do I choose the right cot or bassinet sheets?
Start by checking your mattress measurements. Cot and bassinet sheets come in different sizes, so it's important to choose one that fits snugly without excess fabric or bunching. Cotton sheets are a popular option thanks to their softness and breathability.
What are the benefits of merino and wool baby blankets?
What are the benefits of merino and wool baby blankets?
Merino and wool are naturally breathable fibres that help manage moisture and temperature. They can make lovely blankets for supervised cuddles, pram outings when appropriately used, or gifts for a new arrival. Always keep loose blankets out of an infant's sleep space.
What should I consider when choosing a baby mattress protector?
What should I consider when choosing a baby mattress protector?
Look for a mattress protector that fits securely, stays flat and is compatible with your baby's mattress. It should protect against everyday leaks without creating loose fabric or changing the firmness of the sleep surface. Always follow the product's care and use instructions.
When can my child start using a quilt or duvet?
When can my child start using a quilt or duvet?
Quilts and duvets are intended for older children rather than infants, as bulky or loose bedding can create suffocation and overheating risks for babies. Choose a quilt or duvet that's appropriate for your child's developmental stage, bed size and room temperature.
